CrossFit began as the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide. Since then it has evolved to be an all-inclusive fitness program for people of any athletic capability.
Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist.
The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability, making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity - We don’t change programs.
The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree, not kind. Our armed forces, skiers, mountain bike riders and housewives have found their best fitness from the same regimen.

The first step to joining CrossFit Peabody is to complete a free one-on-one intro session with a coach. We'll discuss goals, training history, complete a baseline assessment workout and choose a membership options that best fits you.
The second step is to complete the Prep Course. It's a one-time, 90-minute small group session designed with our newest members in mind. The Prep Course is all designed to provide a comprehensive orientation and better prepare you for class to get the most from your training. It will focus on the core fundamental CrossFit movements, technique, nutrition, and MORE.

In short, yes CrossFit can be dangerous. But not in the ways you might believe. With inexperienced coaches, shoddy equipment and the wrong attitude, CrossFit can be very dangerous – but so can riding your bike or driving your car. The experienced and proven CrossFit coaches you’ll find at our facility will ensure that you’re training in the safest most effective and efficient way possible.
A WOD is the workout of the day. We program a different WOD everyday.
Drop-in sessions are available for experienced CrossFitters and must be scheduled in advance.
