CrossFit Peabody Recipes: Spicy Meat Sauce with Zucchini Noodles

It’s super easy and is incredibly delicious. There have been weeks where I eat this every single day for 4 days straight – it’s just that good.

You can make this over zucchini noodles or spaghetti squash!

So good even the kids will love it!



1 lb ground turkey or beef
2 small zucchinis (zoodles) or Spaghetti squash
1 small yellow onion diced
2 cloves minced garlic
1 1/2 cup Raos marinara sauce
1 cup Raos Pizza sauce
1 tbs olive oil
2 tbs Italian seasoning
salt and pepper
fresh parsley for garnish


Add olive oil to a skillet.

Add chopped onion and garlic.

Cook 5 minutes.

Add your ground turkey and cook until no longer pink.

Add your Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.

Taste and adjust to your liking. (here is where you would portion out your protein amount into separate containers)

Once your protein is portioned out, add your sauces to the pan and stir well.

Add in your Zucchini noodles and stir until incorporated.

You do not have to cook zoodles as the sauce will cook it just enough. Add as much sauce and zoodle mixture as you like to your ground turkey.

Top with fresh parsley. Enjoy!
