CrossFit Peabody Recipes: Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups

The recipes and options for UMP (Ultimate Muscle Protein) are endless.

Over the past few weeks Lynne and I have been experimenting with some new ways to consume our protein, particular protein powder.

Last week we experimented with a protein version of a chocolate peanut butter cup.

All I can say is that it did NOT disappoint.

Ingredients:

1 scoop chocolate UMP

1 tbsp. Cocoa Powder (we used Trader Joe’s brand)

1 – 2 tbsp. All Natural Peanut Butter

Water – just enough to make a pudding consistency

Cupcake wrappers

Muffin tin

Directions:

Mix 1 scoop UMP and 1 tbsp. Cocoa Powder with just enough water to make a pudding consistency

Place 2 cupcake wrappers inside a muffin tin

Place UMP in cupcake wrapper to fill 1/2 way

Place 1 tbsp. All Natural Peanut butter on top of bottom layer of UMP

Place UMP on top of peanut butter to create the top of the cup

Sprinkle with sea salt

Repeat for 2nd peanut butter cup

Place in freezer for 20 minutes

Remove from freezer, take out of cupcake wrapper and enjoy!
